Monday, February 27, 2017 - A very nice Gattinara now reaching its platform. Typical Nebbiolo, lively and elegant, red fruit, sour cherry, more like a Barbaresco than a Barolo. Medium body and finish. Very dinner friendly with pasta or risotto. I recently attended a tasting with Nervi wines. I preferred this one with food more than the more substantial Valferana or the even bigger Molsino.
