Sunday, May 26, 2019 - Opaque Red in the glass with black center. Open aromatic nose with lovely mushroom/truffle, blackberry, plum, and floral notes. What is promised by the appearance and nose is delivered to the palate in spades. Intense and balanced. Plum, mushroom, mint, and flowers. Long mint plum finish. All supported by a silky and opulent frame. (93 is a conservative score Imho)

These notes from the last glass of a bottle kept three days at 4C.

As mind-blowing as this bottle was, what’s even more boggling is that I paid a mere $39.99/750ml USD for it (and the 5 others I still have). An extraordinary value in today’s market. It is easy to spend 5x per bottle on other Right bank producers firsts and come nowhere close to the quality of this Croix.

Wish I had bought more.......
