Tuesday, June 2, 2020 - MM Tuesday Night Zoom Tasting (Vancouver, BC): Drank along side the 2004 Jamet Cote-Rotie. This was really clamped down at first on the nose but opened after a couple hours in the glass. Very Clape-like, with plenty of cool dark fruits, bacon, olive spice, and some light herbal nuances. Delicious all the way through on the palate with a hint of sweetness on the finish. I was worried about this bottle when first poured but it slowly revealed classic Clape in a vintage that I've really enjoyed. Elegant yet powerful, if that makes any sense. Fantastic
