Open nose of dark berry, and some smoke and funk. Love the texture: sleek and a little polished. Palate of cherries with juicy acidity and subtle green. Juicy and not all the way angular for me, but still prevents a 96+ score. In a line up of great wines I can see this one slipping through as the juicy personality may be offputting. Don't endorse the QPR/price, but you can taste this is an expensive wine.
