Wednesday, February 14, 2024 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS: Chateauneuf du Pape vs Gigondas (By me): Beautiful bouquet with blackberries, blueberries, licorice, garrigue and barnyard impressions. On the palate juicy fruits, laurel, beautiful acidity and still slightly sticky tannin. The wine is in its drinking stage with enough power for a few more years of cellaring.
