Tuesday, July 27, 2021 - Beautiful. Had with a superior beef fillet cut. Drank to commemorate a friend’s 60th birthday. Pulled about 30 minutes before dinner. Should have pulled it earlier. Decanted and poured 2 glasses. Wine on first taste was closed and kinda non descript. I could taste the alcohol (hot). Kinda left it alone for about 30 minutes in the glass. As night progressed wine kept getting better and better. Big and bold. Bright dark fruit, some smoke and a bit of leather. Big finish…. Wine has years left. Wish I had more. Great wine, world class…
