Saturday, July 24, 2021 - From magnum. Deep purple core; youthful appearance. Notes of ripe plums, black cherry, cassis, mocha, with hints of star anise, campfire and earth. Medium to full bodied, lush, round, and silky, with great concentration and depth. Long and full finish. This wine makes absolutely no apologies for its flamboyant and modern style! That said, it has evolved considerably over the past decade, and is not nearly as “controversial” today as it was in its youth. Not my preferred style, but what a wine!
