Wednesday, July 1, 2015 - Wine with a Few Smaller Meals While in Burgundy; 6/22/2015-7/5/2015 (France): Red cherry on nose and palate that started off as forward and charming but slightly simple. Nothing else really ever developed here. Modest tannins and acidity make me think this will remain a near-term drinker. Others at lunch largely agreed. Critics' reviews make me wonder if this was an off bottle, but nobody detected any issues.
