Saturday, August 6, 2016 - Served blind. An initially shy and funky nose quickly blows off/opens up with very typical gooseberry, grassy and grapefruit notes. Palate has round and sweet fruit with nice tart acid providing balance. Has some wood spice notes in the finish which add interest and flavor. Clearly new world. A solid, polished SB.
