Wednesday, December 2, 2015 - Wife with infinitely better palate thought this was good California wine. I agree, tastes more like Caymus light than mini Clinet despite being 100% merlot - no Bordeaux funk, classic flavors, restrained but present tannins. Agree with reviews by MOTZ. Very good deal at Costco for $10, i. e. a step up from Kirkland Bordeaux. California/Washington can't make a wine that comes close for <$20, drink with grilled lamb chops or steak frites.
