Saturday, March 12, 2016 - Excellent traditional Brunello. Acidity is vibrant and tannins are strong, but both are integrated enough at this early stage to drink well. Tar, cigar box, dark cherry and plum dominate the nose and palate. Although a classic, dry and linear styled Brunello, there was definitely enough fruit to balance the earthy and rustic elements and acidity. Very enjoyable overall.
