Monday, December 25, 2017 - Ripe beetroot, cranberry, redcurrant, slight foresty greenness and some aged earthy tertiary tones on the quite complex nose. The light-bodied palate continues with the same theme, adding lingonberry, red fruit and mushroom as well as decent acidity. Smooth but noticeable tannins and long finish with some bitterness. Well in balance, the fruit still going strong, so will probably keep for some time. However I think this is now at its peak, offering both fresh fruitiness and some aged tertiary character in an attractive mix.
