Friday, May 26, 2006 - Opened to celebrate Friday night with my sweetie! Pulling the cork was a little scary. Beautiful dark color. Initial aroma of leather, plums and black fruit. First sips - after 15 minutes in the glass. Oranges at start moving through something - and ending up with olives. Sweetie got licorice. Dark cherries start to come through mid bottle. Tannins at first are very noticable, but really modifies as it sits in the glass. Fabulous wine.
