Wednesday, January 16, 2008 - Wonderful smell right after opening the bottle. Plenty of sediment. Somewhat bricked color. Smell of tobacco, chocolate, and smoke. This wine smells like a grilled steak. Still not too old. Highly concentrated but not over powering. Extremely well-balanced, with the typical flavors of California Cabernet: dark chocolate, ripe fruit. Long finish. At the end of the evening (2 hours later) the wine tasted rich and full bodied.
