Saturday, December 30, 2006 - Tasted alongside a Cayuse from the same vintage this was powerful and deep with red and black fruits and a lovely long, tannic black fruit finish right from the get go. It had lots of smoky elements along with notes of earth and spice. Like the Cayuse we probably should have decanted this for much longer that we did. Excellent.
