Sunday, May 17, 2015 - Chilled on a warm spring day, this was all lemon up front:curd, merengue, verbena. After warming a touch, the minerality came though. With a little peppadew and goat cheese, the surprising sweetness mellowed and you got the more mineral notes. Clearly a very ripe Sav Blanc, really enjoyable on the deck in warm weather.
