Monday, March 15, 2021 - Very charming Angelus, though clearly not on par with what the Chateau usually produces. Medium bodied, quite pale color, the wine is elegant but lacks a bit of depth. It somehow reminded me of a pinot noir character: focused, elegant, smooth with a level of acidity bringing freshness (probaly a tad bit prominent). Not very long, but very decent. Hard to be impressed, but it is fair to say they did pretty well in the most challenging vintage Bordeaux have had for the past 25 years.
