Sunday, May 4, 2014 - Fascinating when drunk alongside the 2012 FH Barbera San Hercurmer Delle Frecce Shake Ridge Vineyard, which is the same wine as this, but this one is produced entirely without sulfur. This one has delightful funky notes in addition to all of the charms of the other. Truly a mind expanding experience to drink both wines together. I prefer this one, but your mileage may vary.

5/12/2014 7:26:00 AM - Could not agree more. Also did side by side and I would have sworn on a blind tasting that the Asino was 2 years older then the Hercumer. The earthy funk of the Asino in both taste and smell is more my style then the Hercumer but like them both. Matthew Rorick is the next Randall Grahm arrived.
