Saturday, February 21, 2015 - Tasted blind. Clear, day bright, medium straw, with low tears. The nose is clean, medium in intensity, with simple, youthful apple aromas., followed by grass, white flowers, wax, honey, wet wool, wet chalk and some other funkiness. The palate is off-dry, with medium body, with ripe citrus, apple and quince and fig flavors. There is no sign of oak. The alcohol is medium, the acidity is medium (+) and balances the residual sugar nicely. The finish and complexity are medium (+). This should continue to age nicely for several years.
