Sunday, November 25, 2012 - This is my last bottle of St. Henri back from my Aussie Shiraz days. I haven't tasted any for years, and even though I seldom drink this style of wine any more, I find it to be excellent and quite satisfying. At the same time this is both rich, forward and exuberant while also maintaining, in the context of Australian Shiraz, elegance and restraint. Full bodied and brimming with cassis, licorice, abit of leather and some Asian spice, this is drinking beautifully today. Opened, but not decanted, for several hours.
