Monday, December 8, 2014 - Popped and poured and drank over two days. Consistently good showing a touch more freshness on day one. Signature aussie fruit on the nose. I'm not sure how to describe it but it's distinct from fleshy cali or deeper old world fruit. Generous but well integrated oak on the palate with a vanilla sweetness that was not over the top. I'd agree that this wine is at peak now but will hold and evolve further for at least ten more years. Would rebuy around $30. Well done.
