Friday, January 2, 2015 - Deep purple colour, hard to tell this is 13 years old. Rich redcurrant and blueberry/blackberry fruit, hint of spice and liquorice, gentle but persistent tannin. This is very fine wine indeed - full of flavour and complexity with a long finish, and not at all an archetypal showy Oz Shiraz. My favourite wine this Christmas!
