Sunday, September 20, 2015 - The wine looks garnet colored which is surprising for its age. There is a lighter sediment in the bottle than expected. It smells like black currant (cassis) and vanilla and tastes like black currant (cassis) and plum. The body is medium/full with a silky texture. The wine finishes medium with low acidity. Clearly not at the end of it's life ... some time to go yet. Cracking drop.
