Monday, February 15, 2016 - Deep garnet. Threw heavy sediment when decanting. Nose is clean, medium intensity, and developing nicely. Aromas of black cherry, cola, blackberry, chocolate, mushroom, hay, pine resin. The palate is notable for its sleek tannin (medium -), acidity (medium +), and long finish. Classic svelte St. Henri in its prime drinking window. An elegant wine, for Australia.
