Has a dark, slightly malty character to the flavours; the palate is medium/full-bodied, there are fine dusty tannins, but gentle and soft, and medium acidity, not screeching. It seems warmer and heftier than the alcohol suggests; the finish is medium length. I'm a bit each-way on real complexity with further cellaring; this feels like its about as good at is gets somehow. Lovely to drink, and with some development with bottle age; this is very good. Not great burgundy, though.
