Friday, March 26, 2021 - Beautiful garnet/rube color with just a touch of bricking. Super perfumed, seductive and aromatic, with notes of dark red and sweet red berries, cherries, crushed violets, some rose petals, some tar, also some sweet spices, menthol and some cedar wood. It‘s medium-full bodied, with high acidity providing amazing freshness, some medium-high tannin that is exceptionally silky, especially in the context of the vintage and long finish with plenty of layers. What a beauty and a testament to the wine-making skills of Chiara. Not an easy vintage, but this has superb freshness and elegance.
