Saturday, February 19, 2011 - Deep dark ruby, with some brick at the edge. Expressive nose of cedar, pipe tobacco & spice. That and some plum on the palate - still tight with more (smooth) tannin than fruit. Dense, focused and well balanced. Pretty good right now, and I don't expect it will improve much.
