Thursday, July 18, 2013 - Not sure what previous tasters were experiencing, but this bottle of Passalacqua cab was very enjoyable. Opened and poured immediately, this cab had a wonderful full nose of spices and fruits. On the palette the fruits continued with a nice balanced acidity. As the wine was drank over the next hour it continued to open and show more complexity and a very pleasant finish. General consensus was that this wine had years of aging left. This was the 4th bottle of an original 12-bottle case purchased directly from the winery in 2005 and has been untouched since purchase aging at 55 degrees and 60% humidity. Looking forward to another in about 6 months.
