Friday, November 1, 2019 - Smoked meat notes like beef jerky & bacon along with black pepper spice - I could smell this wine for hours!
Game meat, white pepper, aged balsamic, smoke, & bacon fat play on the palate.
Tannin's are a little imposing, but starting to demure - short finish. This wine tells me why they won "Winery of the Year!"
I find most BC wines peak around 7 years...
