Monday, September 14, 2015 - A private lunch (Restaurant Tennerhof, Kitzbühel, Austriia): Harvested on 23 October 2013, alcohol a relatively moderate 13.5% Rich but lively straw yellow; rich and impressive nose, deep and spicy, herbs and minerals, ripe fruit, good varietal typicity in spite of some botrytis; very good weight on the palate, the richness balanced by juicy acidity, relatively delicate flavours for such a powerful wine, honey and peach, earth; long finish but vinous and honeyed rather than precise or detailed.
