Some really expressive fruit up front that I'd like to see mellow out a bit, but also notes of cigar box, graphite, violets, pencil shavings, red licorice, herbs, a little chocolate. Nice, long, mouth coating finish. Tasted alongside a '00 Pegau Cuvee de Capo, which I can only imagine tasted something like this Saxum 12 years ago.
