Monday, March 6, 2017 - Still requires a 3-4 hr min decant before drinking to help tame the big acidity and tannins of this feisty youngster. The first 2 hrs upon opening showed "pop rocks" on the front palate, which was a first. Nice Rhone blend with spicy red fruits after it calmed down, but right now I think more in line with Vinous' 94 pts vs Parker's 97 pts. Still plenty of longevity ahead, so no need to rush into opening these.
