Monday, March 6, 2017 - Drank this over the course of 24hrs. Although the Saxum flagship, this is usually one of my least favorite blends from them -- gets a little to sweet for my tastes at times. All that said, this wine was absolutely terrific. The nose alone was worth the price of admission, with tons of raspberry, charred/smoked meat and forest floor. Super powerful and dense, but with terrific texture and balance. Really pleasing mid pallet, with strong but sweet well integrated tannins and a super long finish. Better on day two, so highly recommend a long decant if consuming now. No doubt this will have a long life. No need to hurry but great now with air. 95+
