Tuesday, July 6, 2021 - Dark berries, licorice and lots of earthiness, a bit oaky, still quite tannic. A bit smoother on the second day. Full-bodied, rich, and structured. I'm guessing the mourvedre was in ascendency. A bruiser of a wine. This is one James Berry that will last a long time. Very good, albeit in a dark register.
