Tuesday, July 6, 2021 - Bottle brought to drink during service at Oinoscent
The cork broke in two, but came with no other problems.
The wine was not decanted but rather tasted via proper Pinot noir glasses.
The wine shows evolved , slightly hazy brick red colour.
Ethereal and decadent in the nose, spicy, savoury with pot pouri notes next to ripe red cherries.
The wine shows acidity and tannins in the palate, with a few gamey notes next to the savoury ones, that keep company to all those cherries in the long finish.
Brilliant wine with life still ahead of it.
