Wednesday, January 2, 2019 - Somewhat alcoholic menthol nose but no trace of such in the smooth round mature palate. Pencil shavings and leather over dark fruit with a wonderful prolonged finish.
Fine soft tannins but lively on the finish. Strip steak dinner worked well. Very different impression from my May 2018 note.
