Friday, August 19, 2016 - This was better on the day we opened it, the bottle was vacuvined and refrigerated. Lost a little of its freshness after two days. Otherwise consistent tasting note.
8/20/2016 4:42:00 AM - I find that with vintage port no this one in particular, it is better to let it sit in a stoppered decanter at room temperature...it does lose freshness as you say but it develops such great secondary flavors like chocolate and leather on top of the dark red fruit. But perhaps just my predeliction...cheers!
