Wednesday, April 13, 2016 - I initially thought it was doa upon opening, however it just needed a one and a half hour decant to open up. Cherry and dark fruits in the nose although the color of the wine had faded a bit to a light ruby appearance. Very smooth wine with subdued acidity and almost no tannin to speak of. Interestingly enough , picked up on a note of fried chicken(Scott) and hamburger(Simona) once the wine was decanted.
