Thursday, June 13, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Expressive nose displaying ripe tropical yellow fruit, lemon curd, a hint of pineapple, lemon oil, pine needle, sap, a hint of mint, beeswax, cool mountain stream and crushed rocks. Excellent concentration, nicely layered rich yellow fruit, rich yet nicely focused and energetic, bright acidity, strong mineral and a long ripe yellow fruit driven finish with beeswax and limestone at the end. Despite being ripe, it shows nice focus, precision and energy. Drinking beautifully.
