Sunday, July 17, 2022 - Nose is quite subdued, not showing much, only faint tobacco.

Palate is soft with primary flavors of red and sour cherry along with earthy notes. Finish is clean and dry with more sour cherry fruit and earth.

Overall, good, but it won’t be memorable amongst past great Brunello. It just doesn’t hit that next level and the aromatics are weak. Drink now or soon.
