Wednesday, February 21, 2024 - For a really warm year, Yquem knocked it out of the park. Maybe could use a touch more acid but it still is a nice balance, better than some second growth Sauternes in cooler years. Amazing complexity and variety of fruit coming out on the palate, and not subtly: orange peel, mango, candied pineapple, ginger among others. Wonderful wine.
