The wine exhibits strong tropical notes on both the nose and palate. Pineapple, banana, coconut. Floral and honey notes as well. Paired beautifully with both a rich flourless chocolate cake and a creme brulee. Lacks the "edge" of some other top-notch Sauternes, but nevertheless an outstanding experience. Of course you should let it warm a bit in the bottle and glass. Excessive chilling kills this wine.
