Thursday, December 24, 2015 - Very funky nose initially. Really stinky, and not in a good way. Very tight in the mouth, and lots of tannins. 3 hours of decanting and the wine was much more open. The stinkiness blew off, revealing some lovely dark red fruits, tobacco and charcoal. Still tight and tannic, but manageable. I'd say a good future ahead. 89+
