Tuesday, June 23, 2020 - Opened this to celebrate a wedding anniversary with food from Pietro Restaurant.

Wine was marvelous tonight, as it has constantly showed over the past few years. Brick red in colour with a sudden aplomb of plums, rich ripe berries, mocha, aged leather, dark chocolate, and prunes.

Sweet on the palate with a beautiful complexion. Soothing on the palate with good structure and character.

Last bottle from a case of 6 bottles, still youthful and energetic after 15 years. A testament to what good wine makers can do in good vintages.
