Monday, December 16, 2013 - Tasted blind, this wine had a medium yellow center with clear rims. The medium intensity nose of apples, white stone, honey, and some grass was attractive. It came across a bit like a white Bordeaux.

In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with brisk acidity. The wine was ripe but it took extended air for this wine to really show its true nature. Overall, it was a bit leaner (different shape) than the ripe years like '86 and '89 but still quite attractive.

This is drinking well and will easily last 5+ years.
