Sunday, November 18, 2018 - My WOTD at Acker's November NYC auction. Hugely aromatic straight out of the bottle. Peppery, meaty, and floral. Very concentrated palate but without the sometimes cloying quality of riper vintages. Acidity keeps wine quite fresh. At a beautiful spot for drinking now. Much more developed than the 2001.
