Sunday, February 7, 2021 - Watching Super Bowl with Walter. Decanted for 3 hours. Served along side a 1990 La Lagune to accompany a savory pork loin roast that Walter had made. Cigar box and cedar on the nose. In the mouth we do have some fruit (dark cherry and plum), but primarily tobacco, earth tones, and nuances of meat. Initially, ight to medium body, it added substantial weight throughout the game. Although it never quite reached the level of the 1990 La :agune, this was a delicious wine, nonetheless.
