Saturday, November 27, 2010 - This wine is doing alright for a 23 year old bottle. Nothing profound but it is certainly an enjoyable drink. Color is dark purple with no signs of bricking. Nose is earth, mushrooms with faint fruit and spice. Needs about an hour to really show well. The flavors are muted fruit with strong earth and forest floor flavors. This wine is probably 5-10 years past it's peak but still has good curb appeal.
