Sunday, January 22, 2017 - I am a really big fan of Michael David wines. I think for the price point he makes some really dynamite wines.

Pop and pour. On the nose, lots of oak and vanilla. Medium legs. On the palate, good acidity and surprisingly complex. Layers of vanilla, and some butterscotch. Good acidity. Medium finish.

Overall really like this type and style of big California chardonnay. I would say this still has plenty of life left in it and will continue to evolve. I am looking forward to trying the rest of my bottles to see how they evolve over the coming years.
