Beautiful wine with intense aromas. Pyrazines of bell pepper of Cabernet Sauvignon, cola. Mineral even saline on the palate. Long lasting aftertaste.

This 2nd wine of the legendary Chateau Margaux is superb! I always hunt for a lesser vintages because to my experience the gap between the Grand Vin and the 2nd label is minimal in such vintages. Probably due to the fact that in difficult years some of the Grand Vin grapes are declassified and go to 2nd wine blend.
2003 is a very difficult vintage in Bordeaux as in many other wine regions in Europe.
But this one is absolutely gorgeous!
